Hi everyone! I’m Caitlin, a junior in High School who loves reading and singing. I took on the role of Co-Head because of my passion for supporting students in need and my commitment to creating opportunities for them to thrive. I strongly believe that every student, regardless of their background or circumstance, deserves the chance to reach their fullest potential. Being part of this team allows me to make a meaningful impact in their lives while growing as a leader. By connecting volunteers who are eager to help and students who are looking for personal guidance, I strive to make P2P a community of lasting bonds built on mutual growth that can support both mentors and mentees beyond their education.
Hi, I’m Jamie! I am currently a sophomore studying in the United States. I play tennis and run a lot while also enjoying playing the guitar and listening to music. I am currently the Co-Head of Peer2Peer because I believe it is important for everyone to have the same quality of education. I hope that the youth in Hong Kong is able to grow into future leaders and that everyone should have a commitment to developing that dream. By being in the management team I am able to find mentors willing to help and mentees willing to gain new experiences and learn more. I hope that along with my management team we can grow P2P into a foundational group that supports the youth of Hong Kong for a better future.
I want to be a mentor at Peer2Peer because I firmly believe that every student deserves access to guidance and support, regardless of their circumstances. Mentorship can provide these young individuals with the encouragement and resources they need to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. I’ve always learnt best through brainstorming with peers and discussion, and I believe mentorship program really plays to my strengths, and I believe it can bring a lot of benefits to a student’s learning.
I’m Nick from St. Paul’s Co-educational College. I enjoy playing chess and doing maths!
As a mentor at P2P, I find it rewarding to help students in need. I think being a mentor is meaningful, as it benefits those who lack sufficient support and need extra assistance. I believe that over time, we can create a positive impact our mentees through mentoring.
I want to be a mentor because i love working with children and peers to help better grasp topics and sharing tips on ways to understand content and not rely purely on memorization.
I’ve gained valuable leadership insights from my past experiences such as Model United Nations and Vice Captain of Cross Country Team. peer2peer provides a platform for me to showcase my leadership skills and contribute to the community. I’ve been passionate about equal education and I’ve gained experience in tutoring under privilege students in Cambodia for over 6 months, I believe I will become a good mentor with my cheerful and supportive personality.
I want to be a Student Mentor in Peer2Peer because I recognise the importance of education and mentorship and how it can positively impact the lives of students in Hong Kong. I am interested in this opportunity as I want to contribute to connecting educational disparities in Hong Kong and ensuring inclusive access to quality education for all students. By being a mentor in Peer 2 Peer, my goal is to help students improve in academics, athletics, and English. I am passionate about creating a supportive community among students. This experience allows me to learn more on the challenges faced by students in Hong Kong and also develop new skills of teaching to gain more experience.
I would like to become a mentor so I could gain more experience in teaching and interacting with children, as well as develop my patience and communication skills through tutoring children with their schoolwork. I also enjoy teaching children, and it is always very fulfilling to help the children at the end and help them solve a problem. I did not have the privilege of having a tutor to teach me homework when I was small, so I hope that through this opportunity, I can help more children with their schoolwork. Overall it will be a very meaningful experience while it also helped me to broaden my social circle and train my confidence as well.
